Sausage and vegetable stew
Not all vegetables and sauce from leftover stew can be recycled this way. Root evegetables that had been sitting in a flavorful sauce in the fridge are ideal.

Ingredients
2
tablespoons
butter
300
grams
sausages
cut into bite-size pieces
2
onions
(optional) peeled and diced
3 to 4
cups
root vegetables and sauce
leftover from meat stew
salt
(optional) to taste
pepper
(optional) to taste
Instructions
Heat the butter in a frying pan.
Dump the sausages (and onion, if using) and fry gently until lightly browned.
While the sausages brown, in another pan, reheat the leftover vegetables and sauce.
When the sauce is simmering, add the sausages (and onions) with all the pan drippings, and stir.
Simmer, covered, for a few minutes.
Taste. Add salt or pepper, or both, if needed, before serving.
Enjoy with bread for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
