Kiwi martini
Strictly speaking, this isn't a martini due to absence of gin and vermouth. But people seem to understand more what it is about by retaining its rather misleading name.Shake the drink with ice to make it cold. Strain before serving, leaving the ice behind in the shaker, to avoid diluting the flavors and potency of the drink.
Ingredients
- 3 oz vodka
- 1 kiwi peeled
- ½ tablespoon simple syrup
- 1 slice kiwi to garnish
Instructions
- Muddle the kiwi with the simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice.
- Pour in the vodka.
- Shake.
- Pour into a martini glass.
- Garnish with the kiwi slice.
- Serve.
